Our highly trained teams work collaboratively with visiting medical officers to provide optimum outcomes for all our patients, including those presenting via our Emergency Department.
Our Emergency Department provides essential cover 24 hours a day, seven days a week, inclusive of public holidays.
We work closely with I-MED Radiology and our Critical Care Complex to ensure the best intra-operative and post-operative care in the region.
Our onsite radiology providers are I-MED Radiology who provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services including:

- Dental X-Ray (OPG & Lat Ceph)
- 3T GE MRI (full Medicare-eligible)

On site Pathology collection and laboratory services provided by both Dorevitch and Clinical Labs Pathology
Our clinical teams consist of accredited physiotherapists, dietitian, speech pathologist, occupational therapists and other health professionals who provide in-house allied health care.
The discharge destination for patients is determined through consultation with their surgeon. A range of inpatient and outpatient programs are available at nearby Dorset Rehabilitation Centre, located in Pascoe Vale. HPS Pharmacies provides onsite specialist pharmacy services including clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical supply and dispensing, medication management and advice, compounding and oncology preparation and support.
John Fawkner Private Hospital provides a ‘Hospital in the Home’ (HITH) service offering patients the advantage of receiving nursing and medical care for acute conditions in the comfort of their own home. Our HITH service is staffed by trained health professionals whose aim is to give patients the highest possible level of service and quality care. Benefits of our Hospital in the Home service include:

Getting Here
Public Parking is available and is accessible via the east side of the hospital off Moreland Road. This is a 24 hour Paid Parking Car Park. Street parking is available around hospital (mostly unrestricted).
Disabled parking is available at the front of the hospital and in the hospital car park.
Patient drop off point is located at the entrance of the hospital, via the ramp.
Buses run along Moreland Road and stop adjacent to the hospital. There are several bus stops around the area. Bus 510, Stop: John Fawkner Private
